AGITA LIVINA. She has held a PhD in regional economics since 2005. She is professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences, and leading researcher, director of the Institute of Social, Economic and Humanities Research of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, Latvia. She is a chairperson of newly established UNESCO chair on Biosphere&Man in the university. Her research interests are sustainable tourism planning, heritage, protected areas and talent attraction for small and medium urban areas. She was a Fulbright scholar on research in 2012 at the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York. She has experience in research project coordination and interdisciplinary view on new solutions from three perspectives: environmental science, regional planning and regional economics.

LINDA VELIVERRONENA. She is young researcher who obtained PhD in 2017. She has particular experience in field of public engagement in museums as well as she made significant contribution in applied research of the most required skills in tourism industry, including also cultural tourism.
