Abstract

Surrogate maternity is carrying of a foreign child in a womb with an aim to give up child and receive a payment for it. Demand for surrogate mothers nowadays increases because it is a great way of obtaining a baby for potential parents of the child who can not get pregnant for health or other various reasons. The specific study is topical because from the one side we can say that surrogate maternity is a commerce/business as a fact that the service is sold for a certain fee. In this situation we can say that a child is compared to some kind of commodity almost. However from the other side it is the only way to become parents and have a baby for some people out there but these people have to face the fact that part of the society will say that it is ethically or religiously wrong, moreover the regulatory framework does not regulate this area.
