Irēna Upeniece, associate professor of Sports and Nutrition Department,  Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare at Riga Stradiņš University. Doctor of pedagogical sciences (Dr.paed.)Has graduated from Latvian State Institute of Physical Culture and since 1979 have been working in Riga Medical Institute (now Riga Stradiņš University). In 1995 had completed doctoral studies at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of University of Latvia and, after successfully defending the promotion thesis, had been awarded a PhD in Pedagogy (Dr. paed). Works at Riga Stradiņš University teaching courses related to a wide scope of pedagogy. In scientific and popular scientific publications, conferences, TV and radio broadcasts, she emphasizes the role of physical activities and healthy lifestyle in development of personality as well as in lifelong improvement and maintenance of health.  Optimal physical activity – exercise for health is necessary for every modern man to ensure wholesome existence and emotional balance.

Татьяна Григорьевна Доссэ, кандидат филологических наук, доцент,  с отличием закончила Ярославский государственный педагогический институт им. К.Д. Ушинского по специальности «русский язык и литература» и более 30 лет работает в системе образования Российской Федерации. С марта 2004 года по настоящее время  Доссэ Татьяна Григорьевна является  ведущим специалистом по переподготовке кадров факультета дополнительного профессионального образования ФГБОУ ВПО «Ярославский государственный педагогический университет им. К.Д. Ушинского», является доцентом  кафедры теории и методики профессионального образования. При непосредственном участии Татьяны Григорьевны в университете разработана и внедрена современная система блочно-модульного обучения профессорско-преподавательского состава, созданы новые учебно-методические комплексы по приоритетным направлениям повышения квалификации и профессиональной переподготовки, разработан ряд методических рекомендаций для слушателей.   Tatiana Grigorevna Dosse, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor, graduated with honors from Yaroslavl State Pedagogical Institute.
