ANNA E. BANASIAK was born in Czestochowa, Poland and went to the Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw and received her PhD degree in 2013. She is an adjunct at the Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa where she teaches special pedagogy and interpersonal contact. Her main fields of interest are developmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders and parents' adaptation to the challenges dealing with taking care of children with autism.
