SANTA BORMANE was born in Cesis, Latvia. In 2012 she graduated with excellence from the Faculty of Business, Economics and Management at the University of Latvia as Master of Social Sciences in Management. She continued studies at the University of Latvia in the doctoral programme of Economics and completed it in 2017. Currently she is a doctoral candidate in Economics with more than 13 years of work experience in practical business in such industries as food trading, construction, construction supplies trading, and steel flat-rolled product trading. She has been member of the students' association Selga since 2006, and her interests lie in music and choral singing.
