ŽANETA NAVICKIENĖ, PhD is Associate Professor of the Police Activity Department of Public Security Faculty at Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania). Police rank - Senior Commissioner. She has been working in the Public Security Faculty since 2011 after graduation of PhD studies.Her main task currently is to prepare well-grounded and motivated students for future police work, moslty paying attention to trainin quality, modern study methods, keeping balance between theory and practice.As a police officer she working more than 20 years. She used to work in different crime investigation units as an Investigator, Senior Investigator, Head of Crime Investigation Units. After this more operational period she was tasked to be responsible for training of police officers at the Police School (initial and further training).Needless to say that she aspires participating in the different activities of Lithuanian Police as well as work as an expert in EU police cooperation. She believed that based on intergrated approach we are capable of preparation of professional future police officer.Her main research interests: public security, police competence and cooperation, organization of pre-trial investigation, professionalism, professional ethics.Her e-mail address is: zaneta.navickiene@mruni.eu
