Olena Orzhel is a researcher at the Institute of Higher Education with the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine; she is also an expert and education project manager at the Institute for Leadership, Innovations and Development, an NGO active in planning and implementing education reforms and soliciting international donors' assistance. Her current research interests include university leadership, social responsibility and community engagement; Bologna process and European integration; effective governance and policy making for social cohesion and quality education.

Kateryna Tryma is Leading Researcher of Department of policy and governance in higher education, Institute of Higher Education, NAESU. Her responsibilities include enhancing the learning environment through instruction, applied research, and service that support the institutional mission. Prior to becoming Leading Researcher she worked as a Senior Lecturer at Mariupol State University in Mariupol. She gained broad theoretical, practical and teaching experience with specializations in the following areas: global civil society and global democracy, NGOs, e-civil organizations and information security.
