Egija Laganovska is a PhD candidate of Pedagogy (Special Pedagogy) of University of Latvia. Her research interests include educational support for children with dyspraxia at mainstream schools. Has obtained a Bachelor's degree in pedagogy with qualification in speech therapy and a Master’s degree in pedagogy with qualification in special pedagogy. Has studied at Pedagogishe Hochschule Karnten, Viktor Frankl Hochschule Klagenfurt (Austria) – special education, speech and language therapy couses and participated European Union Lifelong Learning Programme Comenius Comenius assistant (inclusive education). Belgium. She has published 6 scientific articles (special education), participated in international projects, seminars, conferences on exchange projects (Latvia, Sweden, Italy, France, Austria, Spain, Estonia, Lithiania, Bulgaria, Belgium etc.). She works as lecturer in University of Latvia, Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art. Researcher at the Pedagogical Scientific Institute of the University of Latvia. She is a board member of Latvian Logopedists’ Association (LLA).
