Abstract

The modern pupils' development takes place in a world where technology has became an integral part of life. It has affected their way of perception and thinking (Buckingham, 2000; Prensky, 2001; Roberts 2005; Tapscott, 1998). The issue of innovations in the learning process becomes more important according to the needs of the so-called "digital" or "Internet" generation (Prensky, 2001; Roberts 2005; Tapscott, 1998). The advantages of IT usage are analyzed in the paper, the results of the questionnaire on attitudes to IT among the pupils of Forms 5-12 are summarized.
