Abstract

The article discusses the professional development of the teacher as the main condition for the effectiveness of educational process in higher school. The basis of the professionalism of the teacher, the author considers the psycho-pedagogical competence, it reveals the types and defines their role in the process of learning management students. In the framework of the system of additional professional education of the University presents the possible stages in the development of psycho-pedagogical competence, offers innovative approaches to the organization of continuous professional education of teachers.

    OLGA KORYAKOVTSEVA, was born in the city of Yaroslavl, Russia. In 2002 she defended her thesis on pedagogy, and in 2010 became a doctor of political sciences. Is a professor of theory and methodology of professional education, as well as Dean of the Faculty of additional professional education of the Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University K.D. Ushinskogo.     IRINA TARHANOVA, was born in the city of Yaroslavl, Russia. Since 2005, Ph.D., assistant professor of social pedagogy and organization of work with youth Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University K.D. Ushinskogo. In 2010, began to teach the course of contemporary educational technology at the Department of theory and methodology of professional education. From 2013 - Head of the Centre for Educational Consulting Faculty of additional professional education of the Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University K.D. Ushinskogo. Is the head of the city methodical association of social workers of Yaroslavl. The main direction of research activities - socialization and adult education.
